Farrarmere church brings Christmas cheer to children

“The aim of this year’s event, called Miracles in the Park, is to uplift children in the area who faced difficult circumstances during the year,” said church leader Gys Vermeulen.

“We want to uplift people and make the Christmas season special.”

The church has been hosting events like this since 2013 and invited children in need from surrounding schools.

This year, the church had children’s activities, present and food handovers, clowns blowing up balloons and the donation of Bibles to the 400-odd people who attended.
