Three vehicles involved in N12 crash at Voortrekker Street bridge

Two lanes were closed to traffic when three vehicles collided on the N12 highway this afternoon.

The crash happened on the west-bound carriageway, underneath the Voortrekker Street bridge, at about 4.30pm.

ER24 spokesperson Clair Wolstencroft said the driver of the truck was not injured.

The male driver of one of the light motor vehicles was transported to Tambo Memorial Hospital after sustaining minor injuries.

Wolstencroft said the three people in a red Toyota, one of whom is a child, declined to be transported to hospital.
