Metro notifies residents of water interruption

Certain areas in Daveyton will experience a scheduled water interruption on November 22 due to a valve replacement.

The water interruption is expected to be from 9am to 4.30pm.

“The water interruption in the Daveyton area is to make way for the installation of new water valves,” said EMM spokesperson Themba Gadebe.

The maintenance work will be in Mahlobo Street.

One roaming water tanker will be in the area to provide water to affected customers.

The affected streets will include:

• Mahlobo Street.

• Mocke Street.

• Ramza Street.

“The City of Ekurhuleni apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused by the interruption,” Gadebe added.
