HunTer bags award in the States

Former Benonian and artist, HunTer is still making waves in the music industry following her recent win at the Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards.

“I performed against 15 countries and the competition was tough,” said the Atlasville resident, who won the award on November 5 in Texas.

“When they announced that the winner for Best Female Vocalist 2017 goes to HunTer, I sat back and thought I’d heard things.

“They called a second time and I was shocked, excited, emotional but relieved that I won.”

The artist said she was trembling and in tears.
