Man killed on N12 near Rondebult Road

A man died after a vehicle knocked him over on the N12 between Rondebult and Atlas roads in Boksburg this afternoon (November 14).

“When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 2.55pm, the man was found lying next to his vehicle,” said ER24 spokesperson Ineke van Huyssteen.”

“Unfortunately, the man had succumbed to his multiple injuries and was declared dead on the scene.”

Van Huyssteen said it is believed that the man got out of his vehicle after it broke down on the N12 before he was knocked over by another vehicle.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known, but the police and local authorities were on scene to investigate.
