The incident occurred on October 29 at Chris Hani, Daveyton.
Capt Mesh Makole, Daveyton SAPS spokesperson said according to the tenant he saw two men knock at the deceased’s house.
“After a few minutes, he heard someone screaming from the house,” said Makole.
“When he went to the main house to see what was happening, he found the man lying on the floor with stab wounds in his chest.”
Police and paramedics were called to the scene.
The man was later declared dead at the Daveyton Main Clinic.
No arrests have been made.
