Seventeen injured on Snake Road

A total of 17 people were injured in an accident on Snake Road this morning (October 16).

The accident, which involved a taxi and police vehicle, happened near New Modder Road when heading towards Wattville.

Clair Wolstencroft, ER24 spokesperson, said 16 people were injured in the taxi, while the driver of the police vehicle was also injured.

All those injured sustained light to moderate injuries.

Various paramedic services transported the injured to nearby hospitals.
