Woman critically injured after she is knocked down by bus
A woman was critically injured this morning (October 15) when she was hit by a bus on the N12 in Etwatwa.
“ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find a woman lying in the middle of the road,” said ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.
“The small bus that had hit the woman was parked just a short distance away.”
He said paramedics assessed the woman and found she sustained serious injuries to her legs, leaving her in a critical condition.
The woman was treated for her injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions.
The patient was transported to Tambo Memorial Hospital for urgent care.
The driver of the bus was assessed and found to have escaped injury.
