Lions donate jungle gym to local church
Members of the Benoni Van Rhyn Lions Club donated a jungle gym to the St Mathias Church in Etwatwa on September 16.
This was part of the club’s legacy project for Lions’ 100 years of service.
“We donated a jungle gym because that is what they asked for,” said Peter van der Heiden, the club president.
According to van der Heiden, the club plans to assist the church with educational tools in the future.
About 50 children were present on the day.
