If you have no idea what we’re talking about, you’re in for one of the biggest festivals the country has to offer.
Caxton East and South Rand are proud partners at the inaugural ERS, which will take place at Benoni Northerns in Northmead, Benoni, from November 30 until December 2.
“This event will offer visitors from all age groups something of interest. There will be a 15 000 sqm Funland featuring child-related activities. There will be toy shops to jumping castles, bikes, clowns, mimes and a 9 000 square metre theme park,” said organiser of the show, Jaco Pretorius.
“The East Rand Show will feature some of the most exclusive exhibitions in the country. A mixture of entertainment, fun-filled activities and competitions over three days, will ensure you find yourself at an all-in-one super show – the biggest open air mall you have ever attended.
“Bring the whole family. Come and indulge in Christmas shopping at its best before you leave for that long-awaited holiday.”

The event will also see:
• Aviation Park (a 12 000 square metre m area will showcase some of the leaders in the aviation and aerospace industry from as far as Botswana)
• Industrial Park (it will cover 5 000 square metres of the grounds and will focus mainly on the industrial and mining sectors of South Africa)
• Agri Land (tractors and farming implements will be the order of the day. There will also be an area occupied by the Karoo’s Merino Consortium)
• Outdoor (10 000 square metres will be dedicated to serve every adventure junkie’s requirements)
• Auto Land (if you’re a petrol head, you’ll be stimulated by loud engines and well-polished vehicles and bikes)
• Lifestyle Sector (whether it be beauty products or furniture, you’ll find it all in this section)
• Countless food stalls
• Main Arena (the main arena will see well known musicians entertain patrons at the three-day event)
