Benonian Grace van Zyl recently launched the Aspire Wealth Financial Club.

Grace Van Zyl, founder and owner of Aspire Wealth Management, will host her next event at The Victorian Secret in Russel Street on August 18, from 9am until 11am.

Van Zyl launched the financial planning club at the beginning of June because she is passionate about educating people on financial matters.

“You cannot make decisions regarding money matters if you do not understand the playing field,” she said.

“Being well informed helps you to own your decision, have a good idea of what your financial future holds and most importantly, gives you peace of mind when you use the correct framework to make financial decisions.”

With August being Women’s Month, the event on August 18 will be themed “A Woman’s Financial Toolkit”.

Attendees will also be treated to a presentation by top image consultant, Mirella Pearson.

Although the event comes at a fee of R120 a person due to the expenses of the event, van Zyl said not every event in the future will come at a fee.

Future talks will cover topics such as leaving a legacy of love, teaching children to save, finances and relationships, covering and managing your risk.

“The club is open to everyone, regardless whether you have your own financial advisor or not,” van Zyl added.
