Angolan national football team trains at Benoni Northerns
The Angolan national football team used the B-Field at Benoni Northerns Football Club (BNFC) as a training ground this past week.
The team is in the country for the Congress of Southern African Football Associations (Cosafa) Cup and ahead of their 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier in Mauritius on July 16.
The club has become a popular training venue for professional and national teams recently with its proximity to the O R Tambo International Airport one of the factors that attract teams.
Free State Stars and the South African national men’s u-23 side have used the facilities at Northerns recently.
