The R15 ticket was a Quick Pick Powerball Plus, purchased at MQ Malik Trading in the Benoni CBD.
Abdul Muhammad, manager of the Tom Jones Street business, said he has no idea who the winner is.
“I don’t know who the lucky person is, but maybe he will give us something,” Muhammad chuckled.
He said two people recently won a collective R11 000 from tickets they bought at the store.
