East Rand hockey derby set to delight
Benoni Northerns men’s first hockey team will celebrate their 300th game in Southern Gauteng Hockey Association (SGHA) league competition at St Dunstan’s College on Sunday, June 25.
The team, led by veteran captain Dale Griffiths, will play CBC Old Boys in what is expected to be a hotly contested East Rand hockey derby between the two clubs in the SGHA Premier Reserve League.
The match will take place at the St Dunstan’s College AstroTurf at 9.45am and supporters are encouraged to attend.
