Learn more about Alzheimer’s
Debbie Beech from Alzheimer’s SA will be conducting a talk at the East Rand branch of The University of the Third Age (U3A) meeting on June 21.
The talk will be held at the Northmead Tennis Club from 10am.
Beech manages the Gauteng branch of Alzheimer’s SA, a non-profit organisation that helps patients and their families to cope, and also organizes support groups, counselling and training for caregivers.
She will be talking about understanding the disease and describe the symptoms and treatment needed to deal with patients suffering from Alzheimer’s.
