Sing for Joy concert returns

The St Dunstan’s Music Foundation is set to host a music spectacular on Saturday, May 20, for the 15th consecutive year

The Sing for Joy concert will be held at St Dunstan’s Cathedral, in Woburn Avenue, at 2.30pm and 6.30pm.

This ‘Musical Mosaic’ will once again be produced and directed by Malcolm and Janet Chalmers, who will also be involved with the arrangements, including playing the organ.

The concert will comprise a choir of approximately 80 to 90 members singing sacred and secular numbers.

The choir will be accompanied by a brass band playing at each performance, as well as by guest performances by the St Dunstan’s College and Preparatory School choirs, and the Benoni High School award-winning pipe band.

Tickets are available at Daniella’s Jewellery at The Square in Farrarmere and St Dunstan’s Cathedral, or you can contact Barbara Arthur on 011 849 2886 or 083 306 8130.

There will be a food fair between the two performances and during this period entertainment will be provided by the St Dunstan’s College Marimba Band.

For enquiries, contact Margie Cary on 082 852 0278 or 011 894 3704.
