Man threatens woman in traffic

A woman is aggrieved after a man, who apparently had a firearm on his hip, threatened to lock her up and called her a @#tch in traffic.

The 18-year-old said she was in a car with a male friend and his grandmother on Atlas Road, on April 4, when a man almost drove into their vehicle.

The young woman flung her hands in the air in protest.

“Have you seen how you drive?” the 18-year-old asked the man after he had stopped next to the three occupants in the car.

The motorist then apparently stopped and told her that she should shut up, that he would lock her up and then proceeded to call her a @#tch.

The woman is scared the man is a police officer, although he was not in uniform or in a marked police car.

She said the man did not draw his weapon.
