Manny Ferreirinho, who is a member of Benoni Northerns Sports Club, last saw Ricky on the evening of March 29.
The German Shepherd cross Border collie went missing from its Jupiter Street, Atlasville home.
Ferreirinho has printed flyers, visited East Rand SPCAs and veterinarians but has had no luck.
Despite several sightings, the 14-year-old dog is still being searched for by its emotional owner, who is now offering a R2 000 reward.
“People must think I am mad driving so slowly looking for him,” the dog lover said. He explained that he has filled his car’s tank twice to search for the animal.
