Potential burglary concerns resident

A Rynfield home owner woke up this morning (February 17) to see that a would-be house breaker(s) had removed putty from two windows to gain access into the house.

“When I opened the lounge curtains all the putty was out along the two big windows, all along the bottom,” said Angela Blakeway, of Honiball Street.

She said entry was not gained into the house, and thinks the culprit(s) were scared off.

Blakeway will now replace all the putty in the home’s window-frames.

“If it is so easily taken out, then I need to redo the whole house,” she said.

The matter was not reported to the police.
