Rynfield Centre gets a facelift

The Rynfield Shopping Centre has been revamped into an upmarket family centre with seven new stores for shoppers to explore.

The centre, which officially launched on December 12, is owned by Angelino Pereira, who bought it four years ago and is a Rynfield resident himself.

“I also bought a house next to the centre, but demolished it so that we could use the land for more parking,” Pereira said.

“Construction started in June.”

The parking, which is accessible from Miles Sharp Street and Pretoria Road, offers increased security and convenience.

“Before the revamp, the centre only had four stores and now there are seven,” Pereira said.

Shoppers can delight in everything from arts and crafts, restaurants and interior design to a hair salon, pet store and cellular store.

“When the centre came onto the market I saw it as a good investment opportunity,” Pereira said.

His vision for the centre is a “family-kind-of-place” that children and adults can enjoy.
