The event was arranged to make an impact on the Crystal Park community and to allow for engagement within this community.

The EMPD entertained attendees with a dog show, the Benoni Fire Department performed a fire display, ADT Security Services provided safety and security tips and Else Engelbrecht conducted a boot camp session with residents.
Residents had an opportunity to be screened for blood pressure, sugar and cholesterol testing and eye screening.
