Triple the success

Farrarmere Primary School’s Roach triplets are all achievers.

The siblings recently received the Invictus Award for obtaining full colours in sport, cultural activities and academics in one year.

The award can only be made to learners in Grade Six or Seven.

The Grade Six learners list badminton, hockey, swimming and cross-country as some of the sports in which they participate.

They have a sense of pride in having obtained this award together.

According to their mother, Gayle Roach, her children strive to achieve ever greater goals in their schooling career through hard work, determination and motivation.

“We wouldn’t be where we are today without our mother,” said Dylan Roach, with Amy and Benjamin nodding in agreement.

The 13-year-olds added that they were excited when they realised their names would be placed on an achievement board at the school.

“I’m extremely proud of them; it’s just amazing that they are all such great achievers,” said Gayle.

“Their determination to set goals and attain them is quite high.”

The learners are considering Benoni High School and St Dunstan’s College as possible high school options.

Amy aspires to become a veterinarian, Dylan would like to become a marine biologist, and Benjamin would like to be an historian.
