While we have a tendency to complain about so much, I also want to take the opportunity to praise the people in the local or provincial council for the street lighting that was recently installed on Elm Road, running through Vlaktontein/Benoni Agricultural Holdings, en route to Petit.

This piece of road is exceptionally busy and is dangerous to travel on at night.
I would like to thank the people responsible for making the decision to install and erect the street lighting.
This makes a huge difference and, without a shadow of a doubt, will make this area much safer for road-users.
