Help collect 10 000 bears

Grapes Pub and Restaurant, together with LifeLine Ekurhuleni, are challenging businesses to collect more than 10 000 teddy bears for a worthy cause.

LifeLine and Grapes are hoping to receive more than 10 000 bears by December 20.

The toys will be donated to the Epilepsy South Africa home in Springs, which caters for children who suffer from epilepsy.

The donation is intended to bring a smile to the children’s faces this festive season.

Members of the public can drop off their teddies at Grapes, on the corner of Russel Street and Victoria Avenue, Western Extension, every day until December 20.

Along with donating teddies, members can also buy LifeLine badges, for R10 each, which will be placed on the teddies.

The money collected will be given to LifeLine Ekurhuleni.
