“The Water and Sanitation Department has a comprehensive plan to reduce water losses to below 20 per cent by June 2023,” said Gadebe.
“The implementation of the plan has seen the consistent reduction in water losses over the last three financial years from 33.9 per cent in the 2013/2014 financial year to 30.6 per cent in the 2015/2016 financial years.”
