On July 22, I drew R400 from the AutoBank at the Sheridan Centre.

When I wanted to pay for my purchases where I was shopping, I couldn’t find my money anywhere in my handbag.

I went back to the centre in the hope that it had been found by some good person.

We went to the restaurant next to the AutoBank and enquired if somebody had left a message for me.

The owner asked me to leave my telephone number with him in case anybody left their contact details.

We were nearly home when he phoned me and said my money was found by his brother.

When I arrived at the business, he handed me the R400.

I was so grateful for these honest people.

Now the story gets even better.

I arrived home and searched in my handbag once again, and found my money in a place I never leave it after making a withdrawal.

I went back to the restaurant to return the money, to discover that the owner gave me his money, because he felt sorry for me because I was so upset. That is just unbelievable!

I have no words to describe such a magnanimous gesture.

Only a big, big thank you to him.
