Senior citizens cherished
Care and Share hosted a Christmas in July for senior citizens, at Old Bens Sports Club, on Saturday, July 16.
Organiser Audrey Todd said the aim of the event was to make a positive contribution towards the lives of senior citizens.
Residents from Deneys Conradie Residentia, Goue Kandelare and Norton Park Retirement Village attended the function and enjoyed delicious treats and tea.
The guests were also treated to an afternoon of dance and music.
Guest speaker Riana du Plessis shared a prayer and words of wisdom with the elders.
Todd thanked all the sponsors for their generous contribution.
“Thank you to those kind hearts and willing hands who assisted on the day,” said Todd.
