I am a resident of Etwatwa and I recently saw something remarkable that I want to share with the residents of Benoni.

I have sighted what I think are flamingos at two sites in Etwatwa West.

There is a wetland near Erwat, just before the Phumlani Cemetery, where I have seen flamingos.

Another wetland on Eiselen Street, just before the Engen garage, is home to the birds.

I have lived in Etwatwa for more than 20 years, but I have never before seen these birds.

Will you please investigate if they are flamingos. as I’m convinced they are?
