Two men were arrested for the theft.
EMPD spokesperson Lieut-Col Wilfred Kgasago said the Ford Bantam “disappeared” from the owner’s yard at around 3am.
The EMPD recovered the car in Barcelona Extension 34, Daveyton, at 9am.
The suspects, one aged 28 and another aged 30, were charged at Etwatwa Police Station, with possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
They are expected to appear in the Daveyton Magistrate’s Court soon.
