Solution to beggar problem

Taking a drive through the streets of Benoni, Boksburg, Germiston – the list is endless – one encounters street beggars who camp at every single robot, and have mastered the look of anguish and pity, tugging at the heart strings of motorists as they go about their business.

First they amble up to your vehicle, clapping their hands and rubbing their stomachs simultaneously, then one hand rises up towards their mouth, whilst the other hand continues to tap on their stomach as though it were beating a drum.

Now this is a phenomenon, because they all have the same actions, in order to get motorists to part with their money.

Do they attend a school to learn these important skills?

Then of course there is the look of pain and sorrow – academy award-winning stuff I tell you.

The situation is now out of control and these individuals should be rounded up and taken to a place of safety, where they can be taught skills.

But where oh where?

Nkandla pops up in my head, as the sprawling facility could be utilised as a training camp.

The kraal could be converted and the pool could be used to promote social activities.
