When some community members add to the atmosphere with their bright Christmas lights, it brings Christmas cheer to the entire community.
Benoni citizens are treated to a visual delight, taking them back to a sweet, festive memory, while creating new memories for all ages.
If you are decorating your house, garden or community building with Christmas lights this year, and would like to have your home listed in City Times and on its website (www.benonicitytimes.co.za), send your residential address and contact details to kevinvdl@caxton.co.za.
Some of this year’s festive hot spots are:
- 47 11th Avenue, Northmead, from December 1 to December 31, between 7.30pm and 10pm each evening.
Santa and Top Dogs will be there on the December 5 and 12, between 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
(Letters written to Santa can be posted in a letter box provided and will be replied to by Mother Christmas as long as a stamped and self-addressed envelope is supplied).
- St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, December 6 until December 24, from 7pm until 9pm, free entrance and tea and coffee.
