Support the Benoni Northerns boys at SuperSport Park
Following on from their success as the 2014/2015 Eastern Premier League champions, the Benoni Northerns Cricket Club (BNCC) has been invited to take part in a prestigious sixes tournament.
The seven-member squad will compete in the Tshwane Club Sixes Invitational Tournament on Saturday, December 5, and Sunday, December 6, at SuperSport Park in Centurion.
Coach Thys van Lingen has urged the community to support the team at the stadium over the weekend.
The team (Kurt Francis, Werner van Lingen, Mark Robey, Stefano Di Bartolomeo, Charl Steyn, Stiaan Jordaan and Stefan Jordaan) will open proceedings in Group A against the Eagles Cricket Club at 11.40am on Saturday followed by a game versus Sasol Secunda at 3pm.
They will get things underway on Sunday morning at 10am against Sinoville.
The tournament semi-finals will be held at 1.50pm and 2.40pm respectively, while the final is scheduled at 4pm.
