“The man parked his car in the garage, went to close the gate when two men wearing balaclavas approached him,” said Const Zunickha Essakje, acting Benoni SAPS media officer.
“One suspects produced a firearm, ordered the man to lie down and demanded his car keys.
“The suspects robbed the man of his cell phone and drove away with the silver Mercedes Benz.”
A case of hijacking was opened at the Benoni Police Station.
No injuries were reported and no arrests made.
