‘‘The illegal dumping of waste in the area is a continuous problem that can only be solved with assistance from the public,’’ said Ekurhuleni acting media relations unit manager Sam Modiba.
The City Times reported on illegal dumping in the area on June 18, with building rubble and a buck carcass lying in the veld.
Modiba said all complaints regarding illegal dumping and moving of lawn are attended to and will be cleared if there is still a problem.
He said grass cutting is done in line with a schedule.
