Collaboration leads to successful operation
Various items were recovered by officers during the two-day operation.
A collaboration between Norkem Park, Kempton Park and Sebenza SAPS, EMPD and CPF led to a successful operation in Edleen.
The operation was held on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Sgt Barbara Ferreira, the spokesperson for Norkem Park Police Station, said that the police have been receiving complaints from residents about smash-and-grab incidents that occur on the corner of CR Swart Drive and Green Avenue as well as the corner of CR Swart Drive and Besembos Avenue.

“Members from the above-mentioned stations held a combined operation to prevent crime on the mentioned areas in Edleen,” said Ferreira.
Various items were recovered by officers during the operation.
