The City of Ekurhuleni has warned of job scam messages that are being sent to the public through social media.
The messages are made to seem like they are from the City of Ekurhuleni, inviting people to present themselves at the municipal offices in Germiston for medical tests.
According to metro, the job application process is not conducted through social media platforms or social media messaging.
Positions – permanent, temporary or fixed-term – are strictly advertised on its website (www.ekurhuleni.gov.za/vacancies).
