Virtual concert in aid of Sunflower Fund this Father’s Day

This live-stream concert will feature a performance by SAAMA nominated artist Jimmy Nevis. 

TThree South African artists are gearing up to plug and play remotely from their homes on June 21 at 2pm in a special Father’s Day celebration in aid of the Sunflower Fund partnered by DKMS and patients with blood disorders.

This live-stream concert will feature a performance by SAAMA nominated artist Jimmy Nevis.
Since dominating the SA music charts in 2012, Jimmy has become a much-loved household name.

Fans will be able to see his recently released his new single Hey Jimmy performed live for the first time.
Other artists include the talented singer, songwriter and recording artist Chad Saaiman.
He has been performing professionally for over a decade and has graced stages in Cape Town, London, Spain and Johannesburg and several other big other cities around the world.
Acoustic Element have dominated the livestream market since lockdown with their weekly lockdown sessions.The duo comprises cousins Callen Petersen and Jody Abel.
Callen plays the violin and Jody the guitar. The duo have performed alongside some of the country’s hottest performers. Their diverse repertoire of covers from hit makers like Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa and Lady Gaga to name a few, has made them sought after performers with a global online following.
The show is free, however, you are encouraged to make a donation to The Sunflower Fund partnered by DKMS before or during the show.

The Sunflower Fund partnered by DKMS is a donor recruitment centre and stem cell registry, helping patients with blood disorders like leukemia in need of a life-saving blood stem cell transplant find their matching donor.
Funds raised during this event will help cover the cost of the DNA test involved in recruiting stem cell donors as well as to grow the patient support fund, which assists patients who cannot afford the cost of a stem cell transplant.
