Joburg Zoo, in partnership with Joburg Theatre, City Parks and City Power, announced the annual Joburg Zoo Festival of Lights recently.
The event, open from December 1 to January 5, will boast a collection of illuminated life-size animal characters featuring classical, harmonious entertainment, food and craft market for visitors to the zoo.
The Festival of Lights will be open from 7pm to 10pm daily, except on Mondays.
The Joburg Zoo Festival of Lights will kick off with a classical performance of highlights from The Nutcracker by Joburg Ballet at the Bandstand in the zoo.
The entertainment will vary on a daily basis, offering a night out in the zoo for all ages.
