#WeRead: Ticket sales for book fair open

This year’s event will be open to the public on September 7 and 8.

Tickets for the South African Book Fair are now on sale at Webtickets and are priced to ensure that the country’s national book fair is accessible to South Africans from all walks of life.

The event will take place at Constitution Hill from September 6 to 8.

This year’s event will be open to the public on September 7 and 8.

Tickets are priced at R10 for general admission, R100 for a single day pass, R150 for a weekend pass and R40 for programme session.

Children ages 16 and younger can attend the event free of charge and will only pay for programme sessions.

All programme sessions need to be pre-booked, including by those who buy day and weekend passes.

A ticket price discount of 10 per cent applied to those who have Smart Shopper cards.

A 20 per cent discount applied to those who are part of book clubs, providing that the book club buys 10 or more tickets to the event.
