Edenvale’s Miguel releases new love song, O Meu Amor
O Meu Amor is different from his previous projects as it is his first love song.
Edenvale Latin pop singer Miguel Pregueiro has released his first single and music video for 2019.
The Portuguese and English song titled O Meu Amor was released on Valentine’s Day and the music video on March 4 in partnership with Polymode Records.

“O Meu Amor means ‘my love’ and the song is about just that. I wanted to show my fans and any new people listening to my music that there is a softer and more romantic side to who I am.”
The singer-songwriter said the song can loosely be translated to a song of appreciation for the one you love and getting lost in moments together.
Miguel took the opportunity to depict just that in his music video, which starred his girlfriend.
The video was filmed at Edenvale’s edgy roadhouse, Kota Joe, and it embodies the love that exists between them as they shared memories and moments.
Miguel said he received a lot of support from the Portuguese community and was encouraged to sing in Portuguese.
Although the song is predominantly in English, he wanted to include his Portuguese culture in his music.
“I am Portuguese and even though I grew up in a household where we all spoke English, the Portuguese language, as well as its rich culture, was still very much a part of my upbringing,” he said.
“I wanted to include this part of who I am in my music and challenge myself to embrace the Portuguese side of me with pride.”
Miguel is focused on releasing as much music as possible this year as he explores his sound.
He would one day like to collaborate with award-winning South African vocalist Lady Zamar.
Miguel is currently doing a tour of all the Salsa restaurants in the country.
