Jeppe Girls’ centenary musical production is the famous Sister Act musical.
The musical is based on the 1992 hit film.
The story is about Deloris van Cartier who hides in the convent from her gangster ex-boyfriend, played by Ayabukwa Magocoba, who plots to kill her.
Hilarity ensues and Deloris makes some really good friends along the way.
The sensational Nandi Zulu plays Deloris and she is matched by the indominable Kirsten Dickinson as Mother Superior.

Abigail Hartley, Katherine Edwards, Wande Nduna and Nompumelelo Makhoba also star as the nuns who change Deloris’s life.
Making her debut this year is Mandisa Yende in the role of Sister Mary Robert.
The production will include the Jeppe orchestra.
The show dates and times are May 9 at 3pm and May 10 and 11 at 7pm.
