No more agriculture for the 125th annual Rand Show

“We have no doubt that in this important landmark year, the experience on offer will exceed expectations,” said managing director of Caxton Local Media, Jaco Koekemoer.

This year, the 125th annual Rand Show is hosted from April 19 to 28 at the Nasrec Expo Centre.

Since its inception in 1894, the show’s focus was solely on agriculture. However, in its 125th year, the Rand Show now offers a wide range of pavilions from fitness to gaming.

Craig Newman, CEO of the Rand Show, said the Rand Show used to last for 27 days and brought the entire country to a standstill.
