Summer Fest to be hosted by Inyoni in November

Although the event will have a Christmas theme and will have hand-made gifts and décor on sale, there will be plenty to keep the whole family busy.

A charming, hand-painted Christmas stocking was made by Inyoni Creek resident Ali Pepper, who along with other creative residents, will ensure that the retirement village’s Summer Fest on November 3 is characterised by unique, rather than factory-produced, items.

Although the event will have a Christmas theme and will have hand-made gifts and décor on sale, there will be plenty to keep the whole family busy.

The retirement village has beautiful gardens which can be enjoyed during a fun run/walk for all ages.

There will be a potjiekos competition, boerie rolls, cakes and other home-made delights on sale as well.

Inyoni Creek is run by Rand Aid Association and is situated just off the N3 near Johannesburg, on the corner of Modderfontein and Wordsworth roads.
