Tarentaal to host Spring fête

EDENVALE - Hunger and thirst will be kept away by a choice of boerewors rolls, curry-and-rice and tea and beer gardens.

With mid-winter having come and gone, it is downhill to spring and what better way to celebrate than by visiting Tarentaal Village’s fête on September 2.

The retirement village, run by non-profit organisation Rand Aid, is set in spacious grounds and boasts pretty gardens, making it the ideal setting for a fête.

Enjoy traditional fête offerings like a white elephant stall, needlework, books, jewellery, novelties, cake sales, raffles and a garden stall. While the fête officially starts at 9am, the ever-popular white elephant stall and jumble sale stall will open for business at 7am.

Hunger and thirst will be kept away by a choice of boerewors rolls, curry-and-rice and tea and beer gardens.

Live music and a jumping castle will add to the fun.
