Award-winning artist Kabomo Vilakazi performs at Glenfiddich Independent Bar in Braamfontein

BRAAMFONTEIN - Kabomo Vilakazi wows the crowd.

 

The Glenfiddich Independent Bar hosted award-winning artist, Kabomo Vilakazi, on 5 May and it was a night to be remembered.

The singer, songwriter and actor has opened for international artists such as Louie Vega, Vikter Duplaix, Josh Milan and Bilal, and has shared stages with Questlove of The Roots, Kaos, Angelique Kidjo, K’naan and Saul Williams.

Best known for his first single, Uzobuya, Vilakazi entertained the audience to favorites including Funny Money, Hlala Nawa and more.

The Glenfiddich Independent Bar is now open in Johannesburg and is the first of its kind in South Africa to use biometric technology to produce cocktails based on one’s voice characteristics. It is a one-off concept bar that encapsulates design, art and innovation in a way that has never been done before.

Situated in cultural and upbeat town of Braamfontein, the bar offers delectable tapas that complement the full range of award winning variants, which include the newly launched Glenfiddich IPA and Project XX from the Experimental Series.
