Win an opportunity to meet and greet Team Nissian riders

After several years in the world of South African showjumping, Team Nissan riders will be giving 10 showjumping enthusiasts and their partners an opportunity of a lifetime.

The first 10 people to email competitions@caxton.co.za will get the opportunity with their partners to join the Team Nissan Showjumping team at their open day on 12 March from 9am to 12pm at Farnham Stables in Chartwell.

Winners will meet all the riders of the team, Barry Taylor, Lorette Knowles-Taylor, Oscar Ncube and Liam Stevens, as well as their horses.

When asked how it felt to be part of Team Nissan, Stevens stated that it was a privilege and opportunity that not many riders were given, and he was extremely grateful. “Being able to work so closely with the calibre of riders in the team is a great experience and being a teammate creates a new dynamic in an individual sport,” he said.

Stevens’ advice to young showjumpers was to have a game plan and to stick to it, to decide where they want to be by the end of the year, and what they would want to have achieved. “Be positive and dedicated, you will reach your goals,” Stevens advised.

The winners will get to ask the riders questions, as well as a photo opportunity and will also get the opportunity to watch them ride.
