WATCH: Yung Swiss drops highly-anticipated EP

JOBURG – Rising hip-hop sensation Yung Swiss is fast becoming a household name.

Johannesburg resident and South Africa’s newest game changer, Yung Swiss, has just dropped his highly-awaited project titled #BottomBabyEP.

The rapper, whose real name is Steve Dang, has taken the music industry by storm with his unique sound. The #BottomBabyEP is a nine-track album offering tracks such as Jungle, which features award-winning South African hip-hop sensation KO, and FUTC, Where The Work featuring Nadia Nakai and the recently released single The High.

The Extended Player (EP) also has a surprise offering that shows the versatility of Yung Swiss as an artist with a track titled Addicted featuring newly signed Playground Productions artist Astryd Brown.

Swiss’ #BottomBabyEP is produced by Johannesburg-based record label Playground Productions and follows the success of his EP titled The Desiree Project which was released last year and featured hit singles such as David Genaro and I Love It featuring Reason.

Known for his insane hooks and an impeccable delivery of verses, the talented rapper currently features on the hook of DJ Speedsta’s #Mayo track.

The hip-hop sensation entered the music industry with his first commercial single last year. I Love It, featuring Reason, made the hip-hop industry take notice of him, bringing him nationwide radio airplay on platforms such as 5FM and YFM.

The David Genaro hit-maker said the EP will be a great opportunity for fans to get known him personally. “I believe that the more time you invest in what you want, the easier it’s going to get,” Swiss said.

The EP released on 25 November and received 10 000 downloads in a week.
