WIN: Tickets to the Comedy Central Roast Battle

FOURWAYS – Someone must fall… onstage.

South Africa’s funniest stand-up comedians are donning their armour and sharpening their swords for the latest Comedy Central Roast Battle.

A to-the-death battle where the only weapons are your wits, the Comedy Central Roast Battle is the perfect place to hear some killer one-liners and finely-honed insults.

This battle of the wits is set to take place at Montecasino’s Parker’s Comedy and Jive venue on 6 October.

Going head-to-head for the most laughs, in this round are Devin Gray and his opponent Khanyisa Bunu; Lungelo Ndlovu takes up the challenge against Thabiso Mhlongo, and Warren Robertson squares up against Kedibone Mulaudzi.

Each comedy duo will battle it out before competing in a three-way ‘roast-off’ at the end of the evening in front of celebrity judges, TV presenter and entrepreneur Maps Maponyane and film producer and comedy promoter Ryan Harduth. Keeping the duelling comic warriors in check will be emcee and radio host Ayanda ‘MVP’ Mdluli.

The evening’s victor will join previous winners Richelieu Beaunoir, Dave Levinsohn, Schalk Bezuidenhout and Dillan Oliphant at the Roast Battle grand finale later this year.

Dillon Khan, senior channel director at Comedy Central Africa said, “The Roast Battle is an engaging comedy format that has allowed us to showcase South African comedy and comedians in a fun new way.

“The competitors in this round can bring the laughs in their own right, but will they have what it takes to triumph in this competitive battle format? Only one will be able to high-five their way to victory and bragging rights.”

Win a set of double tickets to this battle by answering this simple question:
