If you play an acoustic guitar, either by yourself or as part of a duo, then the Acoustic Guitar Competition taking place at Rumours on Sunday afternoons is the place to perform.
This event is open to all ages and it offers acoustic guitarists the opportunity to win a new acoustic guitar from Marshall Music, as well as qualifying for a discount when purchasing gear from the store.
Acoustic guitarists can play a half hour set, which can consist of covers, originals or a combination.
First round legs take place until the beginning of November and thereafter the semi-finals take place. This will lead up to the finals, which will be held on December 6.
There is no entrance fee for the acoustic guitarists at this all age’s family event.
