Holi One Colour Festival, brings together partygoers of all ages, races, cultures and personalities to experience an unforgettable festival of light, love, and of course, colour.

Sharing the same message of hope and positivity as the Hindu holiday of Holi, this non-religious festival aims to unite thousands in an event that blends music, dance, visuals and performance art.

Festivals are held around the world in every continent, including Africa, Australia, America, the Middle East, Asia and Europe.

Partygoers dressed in white soon find themselves united through a rainbow of colours as every hour on the hour, a countdown begins, signalling the throwing of brightly coloured, eco-friendly powder that fills the air.

Along with powder in five different colours, food and drinks will also be on sale, while a host of facilities will be provided to ensure that revellers are kept safe and comfortable for the duration of the festival.

This year’s line-up promises to be even bigger and better than ever before, with a selection of local and international talents in the electronic dance music scene taking to the stage.

Setting just the right tone for this year’s festival are your Mc’s Morgan Beatbox and K@$his King along with DJ Fresh, Mark Stent, Ricardo Da Costa, Essential Groove and many more.

Tickets start at R250 per person for general access, with special colour packages also offered at R350 per person for general access plus five bags of powder.

Tickets can be purchased through Nutickets by visiting www.holione.nutickets.co.za/JHB2015.

Doors open at 12 noon and the celebrations will continue until 10pm.

Festivalgoers are advised to wear white clothing that can withstand a bit of colour infusion.
